This paper attempts to develop a simulation model that would predict the bandwidth congestion of mobile networks due to multimedia message service (MMS) attacks on mobile phones. The study used an experimental design using simulation modeling. Assumptions were formulated to measure different variables. Findings revealed that the MMS attacks on mobile phones do not cause congestion on the cellular network due to the relatively small data size of the UDP packet.
