This simulation model that would predict the bandwidth stability of the local area network when infected by a code red worm was based on a given number of assumptions and random data. The study used an experimental design using simulation modeling. Assumptions were formulated to measure different variables. Findings revealed that bandwidth stability depends on the number of computers infected by the worm.
