EDITORIAL POLICY OF THE JOURNAL OF EDUCATIONAL AND HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT (JEHRD)

 Focus and Scope

JEHRD publishes original research papers and reviews on learning evaluation, pedagogy, curriculum, resource management, and other related fields.

Peer Review Process

JEHRD adopts the double-blind review process wherein the reviewer and the author do not know each other's identity. The management ensures that the referees are qualified, can perform impartial review, and have expertise on the field of the paper under review. Three referees are invited for each research paper. Once a referee accepts the invitation as peer reviewer, it is understood that the paper will be kept confidential and will not be shared with the referee's colleagues. Within a specified time frame (not more than 4 weeks), the referees provide feedback through the online journal system of the publication. The journal management then evaluates the referees' comments before notifying the decision or referees' comments back to the authors. A paper is accepted when it is favorably endorsed for publication by at least two referees, the instructions for revision are substantially complied, and the manuscript passes grammarly and plagiarism detection test with a score of at least 90% for originality and at least 80% for grammar issues. Otherwise, the manuscript is rejected. Authors are advised to use licensed software for plagiarism detection and to perform spelling and grammar checks prior to paper submission.

Publication Frequency

JEHRD is published annually, both print and online. Circulation is scheduled during the last quarter of the year.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
