This paper investigates an emergent feature of ethnic and linguistic fractionalization of 215 countries. The study utilized primary data from the Ethnic Fractionalization and Linguistic Fractionalization Index of 2018. With the use of statistical data, the datasets were processed to analyze the threshold value and synergies. The results showed that the emergent feature is fractionalization as a function of linguistic and ethnic diversity. A vital finding in empowering national language in most fractionalized countries has been discovered. Thus, there is a need for national language as a driving force to reflect its communal individuality to the world.
