MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAM OF THE DIVISION OF SOUTHERN LEYTE: AN EVALUATION

The study sought to the evaluate the status of the music education program of Southern Leyte Division and to identify an activity that resolves the problem. This is a descriptive study and questionnaires were used to gather data. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS program and statistical analyses were carried out. It was found out that respondent’s level of competence in teaching music education needs improvement. With these, the researchers felt the need of providing service to the respondents by conducting a training related to music instruction through an enrichment seminar for all music teachers in Southern Leyte Division.
