The study related time spent by students of SLSU-Tomas Oppus in face-to-face activities (social interactions) and in spending and interacting with people through media and technology (connectivity). This descriptive-correlational study used a questionnaire adopted from McCann-Erickson (2006). It was found out that connectivity did not replace social interactions, rather, fosters the students’ connection with people and information. The active engagement of students in both social interactions and connectivity after school can contribute to learning and behavior development. Hence, it is imperative that students’ social experiences be directed and guided so that this can be utilized to maximize learning.
